Service/Procedure	The Emergency Department will serve as the entry point to Trinity Medical Center and will coordinate the transition of care to the specialty based on the patient needs.
How it Works/ What it is	All calls regarding needed transfers should be directed to the Emergency Department Physician at 205-592-1404.
Benefit to Patient	Timely transfers will enhance the delivery of timely, safe and appropriate care to the patients.
Benefit to Referring Physician	Timely transfers allows the physician additional time to spend with patients and the assurance that his patient is receiving timely and safe and appropriate care.
