Procedure Time

Patient's are brought to the holding area for a pre-assessment before going into the procedure room. First patients for each Physician of the day are usually sent for between 7:00 and 7:30. Pre-assesment take about 10-15 minutes. typicaly the CCU patients are done first then EMA then floor patients. Physician sees patient before patient goes into the procedure room and takes about five minutes. Patient is then taken into procedure room and prepped for procedure. This typically takes about 10-15 minutes. When the patient is ready for the physician to begin procedure, the following times apply to the type of procedure. These are average times as some physicians are faster than others.
