The Admission Process

It begins with the physician referring the patient, then an on-site evaluation will be performed by a clinical liaison. Families are encouraged to tour teh hospital.

Within 24 hours after the clinical evaluation, a decision shall be made as to admission to Trinity Medical Center. The admissions coordinator will assist to designate a date and time for the patient to be transferred and admitted. If Trinity Medical Center is not the most appropriate healthcare setting for the patient, a placement recommendation will be made.

Once admitted, and the individual treatment plan is designated, an interdispliciplinary treatment team will meet regularly regarding each patient to ensure progress or modify treatment protocols as needed to achieve the most favorable outcome.
