Benefit to Patient	Provides more intensive, focused hospital care for optimal recovery. We treat the whole patient - physically, emotionally and socially. We serve the critically ill and catastrophically injured patients who need a longer acute stay for their recovery. We provide a transition for the families and patients to the next level (i.e. SNF, home with home health care, or rehab in a smaller, more intimate environment).
Benefit to Referring Physician	We offer open physician credentialing so that the physician can admit or consult any patient referred to Select Specialty Hospital. The physician bills daily for services, which offers no loss in continuity and the physician continues to receive revenue for caring for the patient.
