Unlike commercial laboratories, we are a hospital department and are covered under the  hospital contracts with providers, allowing us to accept virtually all insurances including United Healthcare, Aetna and Cigna.

Testing occurs in a two-tier structure: primary and secondary testing at the Core Lab located at Trinity and tertiary testing at Mayo Medical Laboratory, located in Rochester, MN. This tiered testing is designed to maintain time efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

 Continuum of Medical Record.
Lab results are entered into the Laboratory Information System and are available for expedite charting to the physician’s office.  Results are retained for future retrieval, if needed (if admitted to Trinity Medical Center).

The “gold standard” in healthcare testing, Mayo Medical Laboratory is electronically interfaced with Trinity Medical Center’s LIS system and delivers verified results immediately for charting.
