The Microbiology Department can perform a routine culture and sensitivity on a variety of sample types. By utilizing state-of-the-art techniques, reliable results are available in a timely manner. Gram stains, Strep screens (A&B), Occult bloods and other testing can be ready on a STAT basis. Acid-fast and fungal stains are also part of our microbiology department menu of available tests. Ova and Parasite testing is also performed within the LabFirst system.

Analysis Of Body Fluids
